Eric E. Buck
President & CEO
Eric Buck has served as President & CEO of Preferred Health Care since 2004. In his role as President, Eric provides both operational and strategic leadership to PHC, drawing upon his more than 30 years of insurance and managed care industry experience. Eric has spent his entire career in the medical insurance business, holding a variety of leadership positions on both the insurance company and employer side of the medical benefits equations. Previously he was the CEO for a large purchasing group for employee benefits reaching across all of Pennsylvania, Vice President of Managed Care for a regional insurance company and founder of a regional managed care company operating in Pennsylvania and Maryland.
David Jani
Vice President, Sales & Business Development
Dave Jani is the Vice President of Sales & Business Development for Preferred Health Care. Prior to his time with PHC Dave spent over 20 years in various management positions with Geisinger Health Plan. He holds an MBA from James Madison University, as well as a BS in Industrial Engineering from Penn State.
Sherry Wolgemuth
Vice President of Operations
Sherry Wolgemuth is our Vice President of Operations. She is responsible for oversight of Medical Services, IT, Claims, Provider Credentialing and Provider Relations, Customer Service, Administrative Services and Compliance. She has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry and strives to maintain a level of excellence in her department.
Gina Dague
Director, Implementation and Client Management
Gina Dague is the Director, Implementation and Client Management for Preferred Health Care. Gina is responsible for providing leadership on business planning of new and expanded services and determining process improvements and adjustments to improve efficiency. In addition to this, Gina is responsible for client management.
Demi Porter
Director, Client Services
Demi Porter is the Director of Client Services. She brings over 35 years of industry health plan administration, focusing on self-funded ERISA plans for the past 25 years. She is responsible for developing and coordinating all established client services which includes: fund management, TPA & client reporting, stop loss liaison/placement and renewal management.
Doug Smith
Director of Information Technology
Doug Smith is the Director of Information Technology. He is responsible for technology operations and partner relationships. Doug brings 20 years of experience focused in healthcare software design, development and support along with many years of software consulting in numerous fields.
Dr. Thomas Raff
Medical Director
Dr. Thomas Raff is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia and did his residency training in Family Medicine at the Lancaster General Hospital. He is boarded in Family Medicine with 30 years of experience in Family Medicine teaching which included Obstetrics, Hospital and Emergency Room Medicine as well as Pediatrics and Ambulatory medicine. He has spent the last 5 years in Urgent Care as both a Clinician and an Administrator.
Kristin Grove, MS
Manager, Provider Relations and Contracting
Kristin “Kris” Grove is the Manager, Provider Relations and Contracting. Kris has more than 15 years of experience in the healthcare field. She welcomes the opportunity to serve as a resource for providers. Kris specializes in creating workflows, processes, policies, procedures and staff trainings that maximize revenue cycle management. She has a relentless drive for continuous improvement and adaptation to change within the healthcare system. Kris obtained a MS in Healthcare Management from the University of Denver where she also holds a certification in Strategic Leadership in Healthcare Organizations. Kris also possesses a BA in Speech Communication from Penn State.
